Overdrafts can happen. Protect yourself.

We all make mistakes, so the occasional overdraft is bound to happen. With Vantage West’s Overdraft Protection, we link your Visa credit card or savings account to your checking account.  These then serve as funding sources to help cover a shortfall.

An overdraft occurs, and an overdraft service charge is applied, when the available balance in your account is insufficient to cover transactions you have made, but we pay the transaction(s) on your behalf. Transactions could include ATM withdrawals, debit card purchases, in person withdrawals, checks, automated payments or other electronic transactions.

We have a service charge for an overdraft protection transfer as described in our Fee Schedule. However, Overdraft Protection offers an alternative to the Overdraft Privilege program.
