Pain Institute of Southern Arizona: Business and Medicine

Dr. Eric Cornidez of the Pain Institute of Southern Arizona, a treatment center specializing in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of pain, joined Karla on this week’s Thrive Tucson. He discusses the Pain Institute’s reputation as a place where physicians and their families go for chronic pain, explains his journey to working at the Institute, and gives his perspective as a doctor on the opioid epidemic. Being at the crossroads of both business and medicine, he also offers his advice to those who are interested in working in the healthcare industry.
