Celebrating 70 Years With A Goal Worthy Of The Milestone
In honor of our 70th anniversary, we set out on a mission in January—to complete and document 70 acts of kindness in the communities we serve before the end of 2025. Since our founding in 1955, supporting and uplifting the community has been an integral part of our identity. We couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate this milestone achievement than to give back to those that we serve!
We were pleasantly surprised when our team accomplished this goal by the beginning of October, with two months to spare!

In 1 Day, Vantage West Dedicates Over 3,840 Hours to Community Service
“This day wasn’t about us. It was about standing shoulder-to-shoulder with our neighbors and showing up for them in the way that only a community united by shared values can,” said Sandra Sagehorn-Elliott, President and CEO of Vantage West. “We’re a partner, a friend, and a champion for those who call Arizona home.”
Youth On Their Own
Supporting the Next Generation: Volunteers partnered with Youth On Their Own to assemble backpacks filled with essential items, ensuring that students experiencing homelessness have the resources they need to stay in school and succeed.
BUILding Hope and Homes
Alongside Habitat for Humanity Tucson, volunteers helped construct affordable housing for families in need, helping lay the foundation for brighter futures.
Feeding the Community:
At Felicia’s Farm, volunteers tended to crops and harvested fresh produce, helping provide fresh, healthy options to families struggling with food insecurity.

Vantage West dedicates time, funding, and volunteer energy to support their missions, because we believe real change happens through long-term relationships and shared purpose. Seeing the impact these organizations create makes our team even more committed to showing up, pitching in, and helping good work go further.
Vantage West has been a strong partner for YOTO, allowing youth to cash their academic stipend checks at any branch for free. Vantage West also sponsors YOTO’s Caring Courier program.
YOTO’s Caring Couriers (pictured here) are critical to our basic needs program! They are the volunteers who deliver critical basic needs items directly to youth in their schools.
We supported the YWCA of Southern Arizona’s Evening of Empowerment, which champions equality, social justice, and stronger communities. As part of our sponsorship, we invited representatives from Crystal Clear and Lucero Group.
Our Mortgage loan officers volunteered to help build houses for Habitat for Humanity.
We gathered donations for the Arizona Diaper Bank, a local organization that promotes dignity by making diapers, period products, and incontinence supplies accessible.
