We’re excited for you and want to make the experience as seamless as possible. To ensure a smooth payoff, you’ll first need to obtain your payoff amount.

Paying off your loan is an important milestone. Choose the payoff method that best fits your needs, and refer to the instructions based on the type of loan you have with Vantage West.

Auto Loan/Personal Loan

Do not pay the amount shown on your last statement. Auto Loans and Personal Loans continue to accrue interest on a daily basis. We don’t want you to get a pesky several cent charge or a late fee. If the loan is overpaid, it will be refunded into your savings account.

Option 1 – Online Transfer

The easiest way to pay off your loan is through Online Banking.

Desktop

1. Log in to Online Banking.
2. Select Transfers Loan Payments & Zelle®.
3. Choose Transfer & Loan Payments.
4. Select the loan you want to pay off.
5. Change the payment type to Payoff.
6. The payoff amount is valid for today only.
7. Make a payment for the exact payoff amount:
   • From a Vantage West checking or savings: The payment applies to your loan immediately.
   • From an external account: Check cutoff times to ensure the payment processes today.

Mobile

1. Log in to the mobile app.
2. Tap Pay & Transfer.
3. Tap Transfer & Loan Payments.
4. Select your loan and change the payment type to Payoff.
5. The payoff amount shown is valid for today only.
6. Make a payment for the exact payoff amount:
   • From a Vantage West checking or savings: The payment applies to your loan immediately.
   • From an external account: Check cutoff times to be sure the payment processes today.

Option 2 – Mail  a Check

If you’d like to send a check to pay off your loan, you’ll first need to obtain your 10‑day payoff amount. You can find it by logging into your Online Banking:

How to Generate a 10-Day Payoff Letter on Desktop

1. Log in to your Online Banking account.
2. Select Statements Notices & Forms.
3. Choose Form Center: Direct Deposit Loan Payoff & More.
4. Click Generate next to 10 Day Payoff Letter.
5. Select the loan you want the payoff for.
6. Scroll to the bottom and tap Download to save the letter.

How to Generate a 10-Day Payoff Letter on Mobile App

1. Log in to the Mobile App.
2. Tap More or Menu.
3. Select Statements & Forms.
4. Tap Form Center: Direct Deposit Loan Payoff & More.
5. Tap Generate next to 10 Day Payoff Letter.
6. Select the loan you want the payoff for.
7. Scroll to the bottom and tap Download to save the letter.

Option 3 – Pay Using Cash or Check

You can always visit any Vantage West branch to pay off your loan.

A representative can provide your exact payoff amount and accept your payment in cash or check.

Auto Loan Liens

Prior to paying off your Auto Loan, please confirm the mailing address on file is current. Approximately 10 days after the payoff, the lien on the title is released. You can expect to receive the title by mail within 30 days.

Credit Cards

Option 1 – Online Transfer

Option 2 – Mail  a Check

If you want to send a check to pay off your Vantage West credit card, you must first get your exact payoff amount.
