No, Vantage West’s BNPL offering does not require a credit check.
Where can I find my BNPL offers?
BNPL offers are found in Vantage West Credit Union’s Digital Banking from the “Buy Now, Pay Later” tab.
How do I apply for a BNPL loan?
There is no application for a Vantage West Credit Union BNPL loan. All BNPL offers found within your Online Banking are pre-qualified for you to view and accept. You will receive a copy of the loan agreement in your email.
How soon will I see my purchase amount deposited back into my account?
After you have accepted a Vantage West BNPL offer, your purchase amount will be deposited into your account in moments. In some cases, it can take up to 24 hours.
Why can’t I see any BNPL offers?
If you do not see any BNPL offers, this may be because your current account status or your recent debit card purchases are not eligible for BNPL. If you already have active BNPL plans, you may not be eligible for additional offers until the active plans are paid back.
What is an eligible purchase?
An eligible purchase is a debit card purchase made in the past 60 days that is at least $100 and was not a cash equivalent purchase (e.g., ATM withdrawal, money order, cash advance, etc.). Other restrictions surrounding the merchant type and transaction limits may affect BNPL eligibility.
Can I pay off my BNPL plans early?
Yes. You can pay off your BNPL plans early within your Vantage West Online Banking or at a branch.

Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) loans are subject to approval and eligibility. Certain transactions between $100 and $2,500 may qualify. Repayment term options are: 3 or 6 months for transactions between $100-$500; 3, 6, or 9 months for transactions between $501-$1000, and 3, 6, or 9 months for transactions between $1,001-$2,500. Once a repayment plan is selected, it cannot be changed. Fixed APR is 15.99%. Payment example: A $1000 purchase at 15.99% in 6 monthly payments calculates to $174.53/mo.; $47.15 interest; and $1047.15 total of payments. Installment payments for BNPL loans must come from the Vantage West Credit Union Checking Account in which the initial transaction was made. No early payoff penalty.
Valid on in-store and online purchases when you use your Vantage West debit card. Eligible Purchases will show in online and mobile banking for 60 days. Must have an established qualifying checking account with debit card for 120 days and meet average daily balance requirements before any consideration for BNPL eligibility. Maximum 3 outstanding BNPL plans at a time. No dollar amount of outstanding plans can exceed $2500. Some merchant types do not qualify for BNPL, including but not limited to: ATM withdrawals, cash advances, cash or money transfer services, restaurants, taverns, nightclubs and gas stations. Certain transaction types do not qualify for BNPL, including but not limited to: Loan payments (mortgage, auto, credit card, etc.), payments to third-party BNPL providers, cash transactions such as ATM withdrawals, and PIN or signature-based transactions with cash back. Members with accounts which have been overdrawn in Non-Sufficient Fund (NSF) status 3 or more times in the last 60 days are not eligible for BNPL.
