Vantage West shares its diamond anniversary with McDonald’s and the first cans of Coca-Cola.  It also shares this milestone with members from all over Southern Arizona who have relied on them for mortgages, personal loans, college funding, weddings, and business needs.

Vantage West is making a lasting impression on the community by joining the Tucson Chamber of Commerce for its First Impressions Project.  Their goal is to create an eclectic collection of symbols that represent lifestyle, culture, history and community to improve the gateway to Tucson International Airport.

Sparkroot on Congress was transformed from a coffee shop into quite the production studio.   A local Super Bowl commercial was filmed there recently for Vantage West Credit Union. “Vantage West has an opportunity to help stimulate the local economy,” said Jill Casey, a representative of Vantage West. “It’s a win-win for everyone.”

Reports released earlier this year indicated that consumers had planned to spend about the same amount this year on holiday gifts as in 2013, but this year they may spend it differently. Each year, more consumers are going online to shop, and increasingly more business owners are seeing purchases made from cellphones and tablets.

The age of digital banking continues to evolve rapidly. And while branch visits are still popular, more people are turning to online channels for everyday account management. Today’s consumers are not only embracing the existing mobile banking channels, but also looking forward for the next best app or online resource to help them fulfill their financial needs.
