Tucson’s older adults recently won a social media contest.  This three-month campaign, orchestrated by Vantage West Credit Union as part of their Commitment to Community, awarded PCOA a $10,000 prize.

For many industries, business tends to slow around the holidays as employees use vacation time – and clients do the same. Experts agree it is important for businesses to have a “check up” to review their finances before the year’s end.

Three Tucson residents were recently appointed to fill vacancies on the Board of Directors at Vantage West Credit Union.  Paul Melendez was appointed as a director, and Gregory Good and Mitch Pisik were appointed as associate directors.

Vantage West compiled a few tips to help guide a holiday spending strategy to include saving.  Tips include opening a holiday savings account, saving a little at a time, cashing in on rewards cards, taking advantage of payment deferrals if available, and making the most of the time leading up to the holiday.
