Tucson, Ariz. – Vantage West Credit Union is proud to announce that its Chief Commercial and Impact Officer, Mark Papoccia, has been named President of the Youth On Their Own Board of Directors, further strengthening the credit union’s longstanding commitment to supporting education and community impact in Southern Arizona.
In this new leadership role, Mark will help guide Youth On Their Own’s strategic direction and expand its efforts to support youth experiencing homelessness while pursuing their education.
“Mark has been a strong, effective leader on Youth On Their Own’s Board of Directors for many years, and I’m thrilled that the board has elected him to serve as Board President,” said Elizabeth Slater, CEO of Youth On Their Own. “Mark has been essential in building our partnership with Vantage West and expanding support for the students we serve.”
YOTO provides financial assistance, basic needs support, and guidance to students experiencing homelessness, empowering them to stay in school and graduate. Vantage West has been a longtime partner of the organization, supporting its initiatives through financial contributions, volunteerism, and awareness efforts.
