WaveLab: From Garage to Recording Studio

This week, Community Spotlight Host Frank Powers pays a visit to WaveLab, the city’s premier sound recording studio, run by Craig Schumacher. Over the past couple decades, Craig has produced all the recordings for local legends Calexico, including their last album, The Thread That Keeps Us, and has also produced songs and albums by Devotchka, Iron and Wine, and Neko Case. Frank gets the skinny on the music biz from the man himself—as well as his staff!
