Effective May 26, 2020, all Members, Associates, and lobby guests entering any Vantage West branch or other location will be required to wear a face mask. Masks are not required for drive-thru, night deposit, or ATM services (where available). Our team continues to sanitize Member-facing surfaces and drive-thru tubes every 30 minutes. We also recommend maintaining a six-foot distance from others, following directional signs where posted, using sanitizer and washing hands frequently, and staying home if you are feeling unwell.

Questions about the COVID-19 stimulus checks? The best place to go is IRS.gov/Coronavirus. We anticipate that as soon as information is available, it will be posted to the IRS website as it was with the first round of stimulus checks.

Business Members

The Small Business Administration has extended the deadline for Paycheck Protection Program applications. To meet the Small Business Administration (SBA) deadlines, applications for SBA Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loans will be accepted by Vantage West Credit Union until 5pm Tucson, Arizona time on May 26, 2021, or until funding is exhausted, whichever comes first. COVID-19 Federal Stimulus Payment Information

On March 12, 2021, we began to electronically post Economic Impact (stimulus) payments received from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) for Members with correct Vantage West account information on file with the IRS.

As a Member courtesy, we also manually posted payments we received for Members with outdated or incorrect account information on file with the IRS, if we were able to manually match them to an open account with Vantage West. All of these manual postings are complete.

If you have not received a stimulus payment, we encourage you to check the IRS website for details on what to expect. Additionally, if you have not yet filed your 2020 taxes and are interested in direct deposits from the IRS in the future, we recommend updating your account information with the IRS when you file your taxes.

To update your IRS profile with your current Vantage West financial account information, you will need to provide the following:

Account number: Access in online or mobile banking by following these steps:

  • Select the account you want to direct deposit funds into
  • Click “Account Details”
  • Look for “Direct Deposit/ACH Account Number”

Questions such as these listed below can be best answered by visiting the IRS website. Vantage West does not have the ability to answer these questions and we will unfortunately be unable to help you with these questions if you call us:

  • Will I receive a payment?
  • Will my payment be made by direct deposit or paper check?
  • How much will I receive?
  • When will I receive it?

If you expect to receive your government stimulus payment via direct deposit and want to know when it is available, we recommend you do the following:

  • Enroll in online banking and download the Vantage West mobile app to review your transaction history
  • Set up account notifications to automatically tell you when deposits post to your account; simply log into online banking and select “Settings,” then “Notifications”
