The 2017 Vantage West Scholarship Winners

Vantage West has once again awarded $10,000 in scholarships. Ten outstanding students will receive $1,000 each toward their Fall 2017 semester tuition. Chosen based on factors including academic merit, philanthropic activities, essay responses, and more, we are proud to announce this year’s winners.

Dalia Lis  Tanque Verde High School in Tucson, headed to UA
Brett Dennis – Empire High School in Vail, headed to UA
Farhan Rahman –  Previous graduate of BASIS Chandler, continuing studies at ASU
Kathryn Rottler – Previous graduate of Cienega High School in Vail, continuing studies at UA
Kasey Carpenter – Catalina Foothills High School in Tucson, headed to NAU
Afra Nawar –  Previous graduate of BASIS Chandler, continuing studies at ASU
Gabriella Encinas – Sahuaro High School in Tucson, headed to Arizona State University
Valerie Pedersen  – Canyon Del Oro High School in Oro Valley, headed to UA
Cassandra Colby  – Empire High School in Vail, headed to NAU
Mariah Dockum – Mammoth-San Manuel Unified High School, headed to UA
