70 Ways to Give: Celebrating a Milestone by Investing in our Community

In honor of our 70th anniversary, we set out on a mission in January—to complete and document 70 acts of kindness in the communities we serve before the end of 2025. Since our founding in 1955, supporting and uplifting the community has been an integral part of our identity. We couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate this milestone achievement than to give back to those that we serve!

We were pleasantly surprised when our team accomplished this goal by the beginning of October, with two months to spare.

Every year, each Vantage West team member is offered 16 hours of community service time, and they get to choose what they want to do with it—from volunteering, to serving on boards, or supporting local causes. So far this year, our team has logged almost 1,000 hours of community service!

At Vantage West Credit Union, these 70 acts are simply a snapshot of our ongoing commitment to making a difference. Kindness is at the heart of what we do, and our dedication to supporting our local communities extends far beyond any milestone or celebration.

We believe that every day presents new opportunities to give back, serve, and uplift those around us, reinforcing our promise to invest in people today to achieve a more prosperous tomorrow.
