Transfer your accounts to Vantage West in 3-easy steps!

Personal Accounts

  1. First, contact us or stop by a branch to establish your membership. Then, open a checking account with a deposit of just $20 (plus $5 into a Regular Share Account – this is your “par value.”)
  2. Download and print the Vantage West Switch Kit PDF to access helpful forms to CHANGE your direct deposits, automatic payments, and automatic withdrawals. Fill out the AUTHORIZATION TO CHANGE MY DIRECT DEPOSIT form and give it to your employer’s payroll department, the Social Security Administration, or your retirement plan administrator. You will need to include a new voided check. Use the AUTHORIZATION TO CHANGE MY AUTOMATIC WITHDRAWAL form to change automatic withdrawals or payment services. Don’t forget any payments that use your old debit card number.
  3. CLOSE your account by sending the AUTHORIZATION TO CLOSE MY ACCOUNT form to your old financial institution and referencing your new account number. Your old institution will send a check directly to Vantage West to deposit your remaining balance into your new account.

Business Accounts

  1. First, reference the document, “Business Account Checklist.” Then, call us at (520) 298-7882 or 1-800-888-7882 to schedule an appointment at one of our branches to OPEN a business account.
  2. At the branch, we can help you CHANGE your automatic deposits, payments, and withdrawals. (If you want to get a head start, you can download and print the Vantage West Business Switch Kit PDF and complete the forms, AUTHORIZATION TO CHANGE MY ACH DEPOSIT and AUTHORIZATION TO CHANGE MY ACH WITHDRAWAL). Take them with you to your scheduled appointment at the branch.)
  3. At the branch, we can help you CLOSE your account by sending the AUTHORIZATION TO CLOSE MY ACCOUNT form to your old financial institution, referencing your new account number. Your old institution will send a check directly to Vantage West for the remaining balance in your account.

Note: Allow up to ten business days for outstanding checks to clear from your old account. Destroy old unused checks, deposit slips, ATM, and debit cards.

We look forward to serving you!
